Follow Drs. Rodney & Adonica Howard-Browne and the RMI Team as they travel to 7 countries across the continent of Africa.
7 Countries - April 3rd-May 3rd. Also, the Africa trip is paid in full - thank you Jesus! ✈️🌍
On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, Adonica and I, and the team, boarded River Force One, launching into our Holy Ghost and Fire 7-Nation Africa Tour! The wheels went up, and we have officially landed in AFRICA!
Upon arrival in Botswana, we were greeted by dignitaries and officially welcomed to the nation. We were then greeted by traditional dancers and were so blessed by the warm reception we received. It’s a difficult day for Botswana as it is in national mourning after a busload of 45 nationals attending a ZCC conference in South Africa went off a cliff. Everyone died. The nation is shocked. You will see I am wearing the national colors of Botswana.
The team fared well even though we were 21 hours in transit.
After we checked into our hotel, I met with the team. We prayed and thanked the Lord for bringing us safely to this great nation.
This is the first stop—1 of 7 nations. I then discussed and ran through the happenings of the next8days and then laid out everything for Gaborone. We will leave for Maun on Sunday morning. ThenIran through a refresher for each day until our flight home to Tampa, Florida.
We had a powerful 9.30 am meeting with the Honorable Kabo Morwaeng, MP Minister for the State President Office of the President - everything I wanted to accomplish last visit, we are able to by the grace of God accomplish this trip!
- Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne
We had a powerful meeting with theHonorable Kabo Morwaeng, MP - Minister of Presidential Affairs & Public Administration, at the Office of the President.
Everything I wanted to accomplish on our previous Holy Ghost & Fire Tour, we are able to accomplish during this trip—by the grace of God! The meeting ended with an interview with the National News Media of Botswana, which was later aired nationwide.
Morning activities were followed by an afternoon lunch meeting with leading bishops and denominational leaders. They were such precious people, and I’m thankful God would use us to answer their questions and provide advice and guidance concerning their roles in the nation. It was a wonderful time of fellowship.
We later met with the Honorable MP, Dumezdweni Mthimkhulu, Botswana’s Minister of Environment and Tourism. We had an amazing and insightful time, discussing the complexities and problems facing the nation, and strategies and solutions to see a turnaround over the next 36 months.
That night in Gaborone, at the beginning of the Holy Ghost & Fire service, we were welcomed by the Gaborone City Council Deputy Mayor, Seikise Lotty Manyapetsa. It was a phenomenal opening night! People came hungry and thirsty, and were set ablaze by the Fire of God. In total, 1,588 in attendance, 374 fill the altar to receive salvation, and 1,335 mobilized to win souls in their region!
National News Botswana 🇧🇼 played this nationwide - thank God for a news agency that just reports the news and not bias or propaganda.
- Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne
The next morning, we hosted a Business & Leaders Meeting, discussing Kingdom Business, challenges facing Bostwana, and finding creative solutions to impact the business realm. Many received a touch from Heaven, and were refreshed with the joy of the Lord as it filled the place! We saw 761 leaders in attendance, 39 receive salvation, and 504 were ignited to win the lost!
On Sunday, April 7th, we hosted a Pastors & Leader’s meeting in Ngamiland, Botswana, where 337 people gathered for an encounter with God. A total of 116 answered the altar call, and 269 were touched and mobilized by God’s power to win souls. As a result, this move of God will spread into the villages of the Okavango Delta!
Following the Pastors & Leaders meeting in Ngamiland, we hosted a banquet where I did a live Q+A with all in attendance.
When we arrived in Antananarivo, Madagascar, on April 11th, we received a very warm welcome from leading pastors, ministers, and government leaders. We were also met by church leaders and hundreds of believers. There were dancers, singers, and a huge banner saying, “Welcome to Madagascar.”
We were so overwhelmed by the kindness of the Malagasy people. The National News Media waited to interview us later, which was aired that same evening.
When we arrived at our hotel, we had another press conference with different independent media regarding the purpose of our visit.
I told them we came for 3 reasons:
#1 To speak into the government and encourage the nation.
#2 To speak to business leaders.
#3 To address the body of Christ.
According to the organizers of this event, this was the largest gathering of Pastors they have ever experienced. More than 1,100 attended representing every denomination and church group. The Holy Spirit is such a unifying force. When people are hungry for God, the denominational barriers will come down. We are so blessed to be here.
In the morning, we had an amazing meeting with the #2 man in the Malagasy Government, the President of the Senate. General Ravalomanana Richard (a devout Christian). He welcomed us to the nation and we shared with him our purpose and mission, and many other things. He confirmed that we had accurately summed up the problems in the nation.
When I presented him with one of our Stewardship Bibles, he immediately pulled up an Old Testament scripture and a New Testament scripture. He looked up, smiled, and told us that since we had the correct version of the Bible, and we were on the same page scripturally, he felt very comfortable receiving everything else we shared. The Lord really touched his heart.
Then he presented me with a gift, a beautiful picture of his home village. He loves cowboy hats, and I told him I would send him three from America. He was so happy, he didn't want to let us go, even though he had many others waiting to meet with him. Then I had the privilege of praying for him. What a great morning!
In the afternoon, I was privileged to meet with Paubert Tsimanaotaty Mahatante PhD (In Oceanography).
He is the Minister of Fisheries and Blue Economy within the Malagasy government. His expertise lies in the development of the fisheries and aquaculture sectors in Madagascar.
We talked at length about the nation and the problems facing Madagascar—and then we talked about solutions. He is a brilliant man who loves Jesus. We agreed on everything, including solutions. He felt the Lord had sent us there to encourage him! An amazing man indeed. We were so blessed to see that the Lord had placed such a godly man in this important position, to serve the people of Madagascar.
Then on Friday evening, we met with 50 government leaders in a hotel ballroom for a night of prayer and worship. We gave each of them copies of my new book in the Malagasy Language - Mahita An'i Jesosy Amin'ny Maha-izy Azy (Seeing Jesus as He Really Is).
I prayed and wept over them and invited them to the next three meetings on Saturday and Sunday. What an amazing day! I wept as I saw how wonderfully God was working at this level of government—seeing godly men and women in places of influence, pushing back the darkness.
This 9 AM meeting was supposed to be a Kingdom Business meeting; however, when I arrived at the venue it was almost filled. The organizers were expecting around 1,000 people, but there were 5,019 in attendance. So, I flipped the service into a Holy Ghost meeting—the altar was jammed, and the fire fell. Many were touched and mobilized by the power of the Holy Spirit to win souls!
These meetings in Madagascar were so amazing. The people were so precious. We had 1,100 pastors in attendance from the leading denominations in the nation. Television in Antananarivo opened to us to air the meeting the next day live to the whole city. When the evening service was over the following day, I met with the Minister of Communication & Culture of the Republic of Madagascar.I was also very excited to see all the young people in the services! A whole generation is being set on fire. And people are being mobilized to win souls!
On Tuesday, April 16th, we arrived safely in Maseru, Lesotho. We were royally greeted by the Prime Minister’s protocol (The Honorable Mr. Samuel Ntsokoane Matekane). Then we were greeted with joyful singing and dancing. It was such a warm welcome, which was followed by an interview with the National Media on our purpose for coming to Lesotho.
Then I traveled in a motorcade to the Prime Minister’s Office, together with P. Eric Gonyon, P. Allen Hawes, and Philip Ndifon, while Adonica and the rest of the team went to the hotel to check-in.
What happened next is the manifestation of the things we have preached about. The days of the Book of Acts have come again! The four of us arrived at The Prime Minister’s residence, and met with him for about 20 minutes. Afterwards, The Prime Minister took me to his private office, and over a cup of tea, the two of us had a very fruitful discussion concerning his country. I referred to him as “number one,” but he replied that he was only number two in Lesotho. Number one in the kingdom of Lesotho is The Head of State - His Majesty King Letsie III – whom we were scheduled to meet the following day.
During our meeting, the Prime Minister told me they had been plagued by a drought. As he did, I felt the anointing so strong and told him we would break it in Jesus' Name. And within 15 minutes, it began to rain—a rain they told me they hadn’t seen in years! They felt the rain was a sign of God’s grace because of our visit to the kingdom. The Lord is so faithful.
The following morning, Adonica and I had the privilege of meeting for about 30 minutes with His Majesty King Letsie III at His Royal Palace in the City of Maseru. He is born again and loves Jesus. He graciously welcomed us to his kingdom. We presented him with several gifts - my Stewardship Bible and several of my books. I even brought him a cow as a gift, which made him very happy! Then we prayed with him for wisdom to guide His people.
Then I went to visit one of the great African evangelists, Michael Kolisang – who was Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke’s first convert in Maseru, Lesotho. He became as a Timothy to Reinhard, and held many evangelistic crusades throughout the years, and built many churches. I wanted to honor him for his years of dedicated service to the Lord and the Kingdom.
We were able to bless him with resources for both financial and tangible needs including: 6 tents for his evangelists, sowing into him personally, and his daughter, and sowing into his radio station. We are also reprinting his book, which is currently out of print. He looked at me and said, “God sent you.” I replied, “I came to bless the man of God.” There was not a dry eye in the place. It was glorious, and we thank God for His divine grace to be able to help many.
At the evening revival meeting, we were packed out and overflowing in the biggest venue in the city. The main auditorium was full and so was the tented overflow area. It was a powerful night, which was recorded by National Television and will air again nationwide on Sunday across Lesotho!
The next morning, we left Maseru, stopping in Johannesburg, South Africa, to clear customs, on the way to Cape Town. I was able to have a very productive private meeting with the Lesotho Consulate General, Mr. Likhapha Seliane, who cleared his busy schedule to come to meet with me regarding the nation of Lesotho.
We discussed problems related to Lesotho and solutions to the problems. Adonica was able to spend time with his wife. Then we wrapped up the meeting, said our goodbyes, and boarded River One to fly to Cape Town.
After a 1 hour and 50-minute flight, we landed in Cape Town, the “mother city” of South Africa, to get ready for the big stadium event today, Saturday, and Sunday.
After checking into our hotel we went to the Athlone Stadium. Here are some pictures and the drone shot to give you a Birds Eye view.
Thank you for praying for us, thank you for being with us in the great commission to bring in the great harvest of souls, Jesus is Coming soon!
What a powerful opening night in the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town! We had to deal with opening night issues, but it was an epic first night. Unfortunately, we ran into similar problems at the last Cape Town venue––the ticketing system. The people were assigned tickets when they registered, but we are allowing entrance to everyone who shows up.
Security wasn’t allowing everyone in, but we are so grateful to the Mayor of Cape Town, Geordin Hill-Lewis, who joined us for opening night, and persuaded them on our behalf.
We are so thankful to the mayor for his assistance and generosity. And in a first, anywhere in the world in 94 countries, the city of Cape Town paid for the Stadium R550k and R650k for all services. Police, traffic, fire, and medical! I am in my 44th year of ministry and have never had this happen.
Our second issue was with the taxis, who did not deliver the people as agreed. They were hired to transport people to and from the stadium, but because they were mistakenly paid upfront, they were not motivated to fulfill their side of the contract. Despite all this, we went ahead with the Kaapse Klopse (the Cape Town Minstrel Carnival) and our special guest singers. Then I went straight into my message called “Lord Remember Me.” I just wept that night!
The Busses and Taxis at the Holy Ghost & Fire 🔥 meeting at Athlone Stadium Cape Town Western Cape, South Africa. We ran 145 buses & 800 taxis nightly.
We had a great pastors and leaders meeting the following morning with 140 of the participating pastors. I shared my heart with them about the future of South Africa, and that they should make a stand for righteousness and truth!
What an amazing night in the Beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa. I will never forget this meeting—the joy, love, celebration, and pure bliss.
What a powerful finale to Cape Town Ablaze! We were also able to stream live into The Main event at The River at Tampa Bay Church for 1 hour. The service was dismissed, and those who wished to watch the rest of the meeting, were able to watch on the giant screen in the Pavilion!
We departed Cape Town at 10am and landed just after noon at King Shaka International Airport. We were met by a huge delegation of people welcoming us. Apostle John Van Niekerk and his wife along with Princess of the Zulu Nation, Princess Nobuhle Zondi.
We were greeted by Zulu traditional dances (Impis) what a warm welcome to Kwa-Zulu Natal. We then loaded up all our vehicles and moved by convoy to Pietermaritzburg, the location of our night services.
The first meeting in Pietermaritzburg at Christ Church with Apostle John Van Niekerk and supporting churches of Pietermaritzburg City, started at 6pm and concluded at 11 pm. Many were touched by the fire of God and were mobilized to win souls. Here are the results of the first of 3 services.
Pastor Eric Gonyon & I tag teamed, the power of God hit the place. This meeting was the key that unlocked the door for the day. It was awesome.
This afternoon we went to the palace of King Zondi of the Zulu Kingdom to pray for the King. He had had a stroke. Then we went to present his son Chief Inkosi Zondi a cow to honor their realm. We had to endure much protocol to facilitate this.
fter the meeting with the Zonde Clan of the Zulu’s we then rushed to keep our 4 pm appointment with the premier of Kwa-Zulu Natal Nomusa Dube-N-CubeAn amazing lady indeed. We prayed for her and blessed her. She is a very devout believer and was so happy to receive my books I gave her.
Then you should have seen her face when I gave her a copy of our stewardship Bible, she was beaming. So happy. She drove from Durban to Pietermaritzburg to meet with me!
So humbled & honored to be able to represent King Jesus in the nations of the earth.
What an amazing wrap up Tuesday 6pm the final service, this mornings meeting had set the stage for an explosive night, the fire fell, many were touched by the power of the Holy Spirit - the altar filled. Many were then mobilized to win souls.
We left Pietermaritzburg at 8.30am and drove to Greytown to see Oom Angus Buchan to Bless Him, we did, He blessed us. We were only there about 60 min. What a mighty man of God he is and a great blessing to multitudes.
We had the privilege and honor of coming to dedicate the New Land that’s come into Pastors Nicky & Lilly (New Beginnings Christian Family Church).
This came in a few days after they sowed a substantial seed into souls. We rejoiced with them as they had searched for land for many years and to no avail. This 5ha property came into their hands for R1.8 million Rands (unheard of) from a little old lady who wanted the church to have it. This land should have sold for 10x the amount.
The address is 120 Madeley Road, Boksburg. The area is In the East Rand near the East Rand Mall and OR Tambo International Airport.
Their new building and chapel have a sanctuary that seats 3,000 and a beautiful 300-seat chapel with a baptismal pool fronting the lake. This will be a place of signs and wonders and miracles - where the word is preached with power. The family is all involved and the next generation is stepping up as Dad and Mom will be traveling the world evangelizing!
We received a warm welcome in Livingstone, Zambia, from Pastor Janet Hart and many local officials. We were also greeted by Drs. Phil & Sharon Smethurst and Overland Missions. They came in specially to meet us as they are en route to Mozambique. We came to dedicate the Church of New Life for All Nations' new building that we helped complete.
We were so blessed to take Kenneth & Jessica and the 3 grand children to the Royal Livingstone Zambia one of our favorite places in the world. From this place you can see the mighty Zambezi River and one of the 7 wonders of the world - The Victoria Falls.
On our arrival at the Church of New Life for All Nations, we were welcomed by Pastor Janet Hart and two amazing ladies—the Livingstone City Mayor, Constance Nalishebo Muleabai and also the District Commissioner, Eunice Zulu Nawa. The mayor welcomed us to her city. Both ladies told us, “We are looking forward to your return. Livingstone is waiting!” As we were leaving the airport tonight, the mayor looked at me and said, “You are coming back, the Livingstone Stadium is yours at no charge.” Wow, something is happening!
I had the privilege of dedicating this beautiful 300-seater sanctuary with beautiful restrooms and kids' church, a kitchen, and an office. RMI helped finish the building with $50K and $16K for 300 new chairs. Pastor Janet Hart has done an outstanding job! According to what was said, it’s the nicest church building in the city of Livingstone. P. Janet was so touched and overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit and thanked us for coming!
What a powerful night in Livingstone, Zambia. We knew we would not fit the people in the building, so we had them put up a tent outside. After the dedication we had a Holy Ghost service—it was glorious. I preached the gospel of the Kingdom, and the altar filled, many were saved and rededicated. Then the fire fell, and many were baptized in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2. Then the joy hit the place, and we trained and mobilized and gave them instructions for the next three years. We gave out scholarships, gave away my books, and gave access to Kingdom Business Fellowship.
Here are the results—as you can see there would have been no room in the church! It was awesome. Thank you to Pastor Janet Hart, Dr. Phil and Sharon Smethurst, and Overland Missions, for helping facilitate and coordinate the meeting. We love you Livingstone and we will see you soon!
On Saturday, April 27th, we had an amazing reception in Yaoundé, Cameroon. We were greeted by the President’s office and many dignitaries and bishops of the nation. We were then ushered into the VIP Presidential Arrivals, while our passports were being processed, and the national media and other media outlets interviewed me as to why we were there. Upon going through the airport, we were met with great jubilation, dancing, and singing—it was wonderful! We then proceeded to our hotel to get ready to leave for the arena!
This was my first time in the nation of Cameroon, and the place was packed! People were hungry and thirsty for a touch from the fire of the Holy Ghost. Look at the harvest!
We were supposed to move to a smaller venue that seated about 2,500 people, however, we were able to secure the venue we were in the first night! I am so glad we did, as just around 3,800 showed up on Sunday night. Many ministers and leaders came, as we focused on business & leadership.
I preached a message entitled, He is a God of the 2nd Chance. The altar filled with souls, we mobilized everyone, and then prayed for the fire. The power of God hit the arena, and many were touched by joy. It was so great to see. Thank You Jesus for touching the Cameroonian people!
Upon arriving into Lomé, Togo, we were greeted by Presidential Protocol, and ushered to the V.I.P. lounge as our passports were processed. We shared our vision and why we came to the nation of Togo. We then got ready for the night service.
Togo is the last nation before we return home. Thank you for your prayers and support—you are all a part of this. We believed for a great two nights and three days, accomplishing the mission—government, business, and the church.
Lomé, Togo | Business & Leaders Meeting
I was able to meet and pray with some of the Kings and Royals of Togo before the service. It was a great discussion about the problems facing their tribes and their kingdoms. We brought up solutions and will be in meetings with them at a later date. They loved our suggestions and are going to speak amongst themselves and come back to us.
Lomé, Togo | Revival Meeting
On Thursday at 6:45 AM, we were taken to meet the President of Togo at his Palace, President Faure Gnassingbé.
He welcomed us to his nation and thanked us for blessing his people. I told him he was so kind to us and they had rolled out the red carpet for us. It was as though we were a President of a nation. I told him as an African, I was overwhelmed and was so humbled by the way they received us. I told him they had gone overboard, even his car and driver assigned to us.
I then shared once again about our mission to Togo. We talked about the strength of Togo’s constitution and the protections it grants its citizens. We talked about how the Church (the Body of Christ) and its strength were the strength of the nation. We talked about many things relating to business, agriculture, and mining (oil & gas).
Togo is an amazing country with amazing people. We talked about the problems facing the African continent at this time. I then had the privilege of praying for him. I found him to be extremely humble and aware of what was going on. We then exited for photographs and then there was a press conference where they interviewed me about my visit to the nation of Togo and the President.
